Creature Feature
The drawings in the Creature Feature series are based on the work of Augustus Charles Pugin (1762 – 1832), an Anglo-French artist, architectural draughtsman and writer on medieval architecture.
Creature Feature is a self-initiated project. At first I began drawing the beasts to practice newly acquired skills. However, in the meantime it has become a kind of meditative process, an exercise in seeing as the creatures slowly emerge from the paper.
